UPSC Recruitment 2020 – Eligibility Criteria

 Age Limit:

  • Applicants age vary between 30 to 45 years as on 12-02-2020.
  • Age relaxation to the reserved category candidates will be applicable as per govt rules.

Educational Qualification:

MedicalOfficer/Research Officer (Ayurveda)
  • A degree in Ayurveda from a recognised university or Statutory State Board or Council or Faculty of India Medicine recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970).
  • Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine.
Medical Officer/Research Officer (Unani)
  • A degree in Unani from a recognised university or Statutory State Board or Council or Faculty of India Medicine recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970).
Anthropologist
  • Master’s degree in Anthropology from a recognised University with more than 50% of papers in Cultural Anthropology in final year examination.
  • Three years research experience in Anthropology.
Assistant Library and Information Officer
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Library Science from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent
  • Two years’ experience in a recognized Library or two years’ experience in computerization of a recognized library or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute or equivalent.
Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) Armament (Ammunition)
  • Master Degree in Science with Physics/Chemistry from a recognized university 

OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Mechanical or Production from a recognized university or institute.
  • Two years practical experience in Production or development or quality assurance in the field of Mechanical Engineering from recognized organization or undertaking
Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) (Electronics)
  • Master’s Degree in Science in one of the subjects viz.  Physics, Electronics, Physics (with Electronics) from a recognized university OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in one of the disciplines viz. Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Instrumentation from a recognized University or Institute.
  • Two years practical experience in Production or development or quality assurance in the field of Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Instrumentation from 

recognized organization or undertaking. 

Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) Armament (Weapons)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in one of the disciplines viz. Mechanical, Production and Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering, Production Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. 
  • Two years practical experience in Production or development or quality assurance in any one in the field of Mechanical, Production & Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering, Production Engineering from recognized organization or undertaking. 
Assistant Engineer (Civil)
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from   a recognized University or equivalent. Equivalent means degree   certificate issued by Indian/Foreign University recognized by Government  of India which has been treated as equivalent by Government of India. 
  • Two Years’ experience in Civil Engineering work
Scientist ‘B’ (Documents)
  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry / AIC by examination / Physics / Forensic Science with Chemistry or Physics as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.
  • Three years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Documents in any Central Government or State Government organization or recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government. 
Scientist ‘B’ (Chemistry)
  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute.
  • Having at least three years research experience in Chemistry.
Senior Divisional Medical Officer (Neuro-Surgery)
  • A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule
Senior Divisional Medical Officer (Plastic Surgery)
  • A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule
Senior Divisional Medical Officer (Urology)
  • A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule
Specialist Grade III (Gastroenterology)

  • No fee for SC, ST, Women & PWD category candidates.

UPSC Recruitment 2020 – How to Apply

Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.upsconline.nic.in from 25-01-2020 to 13-02-2020.

Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Before applying online candidates have to scan the copies of photograph & signature.
2. Log on through the website www.upsconline.nic.in.
3. Click on “Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC”.
4. Click on “Apply Online”.
5. Read the Important Instructions & fill the form with all the relevant details & submit the application form.
6. After successful registration, a unique registration ID will be allotted, note down the ID & password.
7. Now fill the personal profile, contact details, age relaxation if applicable.
8. Now fill the details of qualification, experience.
9. Now fill the details of Professional Registration, Language, Miscellaneous Module.
10. Now candidate have to choose the Recruitment Test Centre.
11. Now candidates have to upload documents in Document Upload Module
12. After uploading photograph & signature preview the ORA form and check the details carefully.
13. Now click on the submit button
14. Candidates can Pay Online using the Internet banking facility in SBI or other associated banks or can pay through Visa/ Master Debit or Credit card issued by any Bank/ Institution.
15. Here the Transaction ID & Date of Registration details will directly uploaded automatically.
16. Now pay the fee through cash at any branch of State Bank of India through the Pay-in-Slip
17. A transaction ID will be given, again revisit the website and click on the “Click here to view your Previous/ Currently active applications”.
18. Log in by registration ID & password, candidates can see “My Active Application (My draft Application)” link.
19. Now fill the details of transaction ID and Date of Transaction if paid through cash.
20. Click “Continue”, check the details of fee and submit the application.
21. Now take the printout copies of application attach the attested copies of all documents and keep it for future use.
