UPSC CDS I Exam Pattern: UPSC CDS Admit Card 2021

The written examination for CDS consists of objective type questions divided into three subjects: English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics. Each subject is 100 marks and it is to be completed in two hours per paper. Candidates will be shortlisted for interview and personality tests on the basis of CDS Written examination scores. The interview and personality test for short-listed candidates includes group tests such as group discussions, group planning and outdoor group tasks in addition to personal interviews.

Required Documents to carry with UPSC CDS Admit Card 2021

Applicants who are going to attend UPSC Online Examination should carry UPSC CDS Admit card with Photo ID Proof & One Passport Size Photo on exam center. CDS 2021 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates are required to follow certain instructions on the day of CDS 2021 to avoid any kind of problem during the test. CDS Admit Card 2021 will contain the set of instructions to be followed by candidates.

  • Candidates without CDS Admit Card 2021 will not be permitted to take the entrance test under any circumstances.
  • Preserve the admit card safely during the entire duration of the test. The invigilator may ask for it anytime during the examination.
  • Reach the exam center 20 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
  • Appearing candidates will not be allowed to bring electronic gadgets such as calculators, calculating devices like mobile phone, pager, etc. in the examination hall.
  • Candidates will not be given permission to leave the examination hall before the completion of test.
  • Candidates should not bring log tables, slide rules, electronic watches, laptops, mobile phones or any such device in the exam hall.
  • Use or possession of such devices is strictly prohibited during the CDS 2021 and the candidate will be expelled if found using or possessing these devices.
