UGC NET Recruitment 2020 Notification Released for JRF & Assistant Professor Posts

UGC NET Recruitment 2020: Good news for UGC NET aspirants. Finally, official website has released short notification of UGC NET 2020 on 16th March 2020 that complete detailed notification will be issued Today. The online application process will start from 16th March 2020 and last to apply is 15th April 2020 (upto 11:50 pm). NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST Examination and declaration of result will be done by CBSE. UGC-NET Bureau will issue the E-certificates for those candidates who will qualify the UGC NET 2020 exam. The UDC NET 2019 Exam will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions Exam and the exam will be conducted on 21-06-2020.

National Eligibility Test (NET) is the examination for recruitment for colleges and universities teachers posts. NET may not be conducted twice a year by CBSE has proposed that it should be made an annual exercise

UGC NET Recruitment 2020: Eligibility Criteria

The Aspirants, those are appearing for the UGC NET 2020, they should full fill the given below eligibility criteria:-

UGC NET Recruitment 2020: Required Educational Qualification Eligibility

1. For General Category Candidates – 55% aggregate in Master’s Degree or Equivalent Degree
2.  For ST/SC/OBC/ PWD Candidates – 50% aggregate in Master’s Degree
3.  The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET.
4.  A final year student of Master’s Degree or passed out a student whose result is still awaited is also eligible for UGC NET Exam.
5.  However, such students will only be considered for the admission for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor when they have passed their Master’s Degree with required percentage criteria.

UGC NET Recruitment 2020: Important Instructions

1. Candidates are neither required to send any certificates/documents for UGC NET 2020 in support of their eligibility nor printout of their Application Form (Confirmation Page) to CBSE. However the candidates, in their own interest, must satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the Test.

Note– In the event of any ineligibility being detected by the UGC/CBSE at any stage, their candidature will be canceled and they shall be liable for legal action.

2. For ST/SC/OBC/ PWD Candidates – 50% aggregate in Master’s Degree
3. Candidates having post-graduate diploma/certificate awarded by Indian University/ Institute or foreign degree/diploma/certificate awarded by the foreign University/Institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their diploma/degree/certificate with Master’s degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. (
4. The candidates can apply for UGC NET 2017 Exam only for the subject in which they have completed their Master’s Degree and in case the subject is not in the list they may apply for the related subject.
5. The candidates belonging to the OBC, ST/SC category or PWD, are required to submit attested copy of the category certificate along with the online printout of their application form.
6. The candidates must have passed their PG Degree from known Universities and Colleges.

UGC NET Recruitment 2020: AGE Eligibility

1. The candidates who are applying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship must not age more than 30 years.
2. There are no such upper age limit criteria for Assistant Professors.

UGC NET Recruitment 2020: Age Relaxation Benefits

1. 5 years’ age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to OBC, ST, SC, PWD and Women Applicants.
2. Relaxation will also be provided to the candidates having research on any subject of maximum 5 years, only if the certificate is produced by appropriate university or institute.
3. 3 Years Relaxation in Age will be provided to the candidates possessing L.L.M. Degree.

UGC NET Recruitment: Exam pattern

UGC NET 2020 will be conducted offline and there were three papers.

UGC NET 2020: Answer Key

All three Papers answer key has been uploaded to the official website – of Exam Dec 2019 exam and which exam is going to be conducted on 02 & 06-12-2019 for UGC NET 2019 its answer key will be updated around 2nd week of Dec 2019. All answer key will be in PDF format. Which aspirants can download by using the function key of keyboard i.e. (Ctrl+S) and click on save button after coming on window pop up on screen and check where you are saving it.
