CBSE UGC NET Admit Card 2020 – Only 4 Days Left in UGC NET Exam (from 16th Sep 2020)

UGC NET Admit Card 2020: National Testing Agency (NTA) has scheduled the UGC NET June 2020 Exam from 16th to 18th September 2020 and 21st to 25th September 2020. NTA has till now not released the Admit Cards for UGC NET 2020 Exam at its official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in. As per the official schedule, the downloading of Admit Cards indicating Roll Number, Centre, Date, Shift and timing of Examination, was supposed to commence 15 days before the date of examination.

UGC NET Admit Card Correction Facility

National Testing Agency has introduced two helpline numbers where candidates can call and get their doubt clarified under the following circumstances:

  • a. If there is any discrepancy in the details of the candidate mentioned on the admit card.
  • b. If the candidate is unable to download his/her UGC NET Hall Ticket.

Timings: 10:00 AM to 5: 00 PM.

If officials cannot make any changes in the UGC NET 2020 Admit Card, then candidates are advised to appear with the admit card which is already downloaded. Later the officials will take the actions and make necessary changes in the records.

Scheme of the Exam: UGC NET Admit Card

The Test will comprise of 3 papers and in three separate sessions discussed as under

First I 100 50 1¼ Hours (09:30 A.M. to 10:45 A.M.)
Second II 100 50 1¼ Hours (11:15 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.)
Third III 150 75 2½ Hours (02:00 P.M. to 04:30 P.M.)

(i) Paper-I shall have 50 questions each worth 2 marks. Total marks for this section will be 100. The paper will be intended to assess candidate’s teaching and research aptitude, reasoning ability, divergent thinking and general awareness.

(ii) Paper-II will have 50 objective type questions ( 2 marks each) based on the subject that the candidate selects.

(iii) Paper-III will comprise of 75 multiple choice questions ( 2 marks each). Total marks for this section will be 150.

All the questions of Paper II and Paper III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus provided on the website. The candidate will have to indicate their responses for questions of Paper I, Paper II and Paper III by shading the circles on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet dark. The same has to be done using only BLACK BALL POINT PEN.

UGC NET Admit Card: Important Instructions Mentioned

CBSE has given certain important instructions for the candidates and these are as follows:

  • Candidates are required to bring only Black and Blue Ball point pen to the exam hall.
  • Bags, cell phone, metal objects, etc are not allowed in the exam hall.
  • There will be wall clock in every room. Hence, the candidates need not carry watches as well.
  • After the exam, candidates will be allowed to carry booklets for Paper I, II, and III.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to take the test if they are unable to produce UGC NET Admit card 2020 or Photo ID Card.
  • It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that the Test Number and the Serial Numbers are the same in the OMR sheet.
