SSC CHSL Result 2018 for Tier 1 Postponed: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a short notice regarding SSC CHSL Result 2018. As per the notice, SSC will release the result of SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Today (12 September 2019) after 7 PM positively. Earlier, SSC CHSL Result 2018 was scheduled to be released on Today. Now, All candidates appeared in the exam will be able to download or check the CHSL Tier 1 Result from Tomorrow on the official website of SSC.i.e.ssc.nic.in.  The result will be announced in the form of PDF, candidates will not have to use their credentials for downloading SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result 2018.

SSC will release the roll number wise SSC CHSL Tier 1 2018 Result Tomorrow on its website along with the information of next step. Candidates who will qualify SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2019 will be called for SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam 2018.

SSC CHSL Tier I 2018 Result Notice

We hereby inform all the applicants that your SSC CHSL Tier-I Result 2018 has been announced on the official website of Staff Selection Commission i.e. ssc.nic.in.

 

The exam was for 60 Minutes. The subjects of CHSL Tier 1 exams consists of General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. The four section consists of 25 questions and each section have maximum marks of 50. The total marks for tier 1 exams will be 200. Aspirants who qualified for Tier 1 will move on to tier 2 exam which will be held on 8th July 2019.

 Procedure to check SSC CHSL Tier I 2018 Result:

Step 1: First, Open the official website of Staff Selection Commission such as www.ssc.nic.in

Step 2: Now, click on a link named as “COMBINED HIGHER SECONDARY LEVEL (10+2) EXAMINATION, 2018 – DECLARATION OF RESULT OF TIER-I FOR APPEARING IN TIER-I ”.

Step 3: Search your Roll No. in the PDF.

What Happens after SSC CHSL Result Tier I Exam 2018 is Declared

The exam will be followed by Descriptive Test and Skill TestTyping Test.

Descriptive Test
  • Descriptive Paper will be for all candidates shortlisted based on written examination.
  • Paper II is of descriptive nature of 100 marks.
  • The duration of the paper would be for one hour.
  • The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200 – 250 words and Letter / Application writing of approximately 150 – 200 words.
  • The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English.
Skill Test
  • Skill Test will be for DEO aspirants.
  • Data Entry Speed of 8000 (eight thousand) key depressions per hour on computer is required.
Typing Test
  • Typing Test will be for LDC, PA, SA aspirants.
  • Typing Test will ne in English or Hindi, as opted for by the candidate.
  • English medium typing test will require typing speed of 35 words per minute.
  • Hindi medium typing test will require typing speed of 30 words per minute.

About Skill test for Data Entry Operator
  • Candidate needs to have and present 8,000 key depressions per hour.
  • Duration of test will be 15 minutes.
  • Speed of 8000 kdph will be adjusted as per the number of correct entries.
About Typing Test for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant Lower Division Clerks and Court Clerk
  • Candidates who have opted for English typing test will have to type given matter in English language in speed 35 words per minute.
  • For Hindi language opted candidates the matter will be in hindi to be typed at 30 words per minute.
