Man, Actor, Doctor..correct venn diagram for this ?

Please share any objections you have found in Sept1 II shift paper.

  31. To all those who are asking abt their chances of making it to TIER 2
No matter how much u score in TIER 1, u have to score a minimum of 300+ in TIER 2 to be able to hope for a job, because that’s how the competition is out there.. this is applicable to all categories
So kindly check the cut offs provided by mockbank and if u think ur satisfying the criterion start preparing for TIER 2 or else start preparing for CGL 2017

  32. Please tell me the correct answer for this:
Her knowledge in English (A) / gives her great advantage (B) / over me. (C) / No Error (D)

    3) C
    4) D

  33. Please let me know that isnt both have built and had built grammatically correct for this question ?
    Question
93.In each of the questions, four alternatives are given for the
Idiom/Phrase. Choose the alternative which best expresses the meaning of
    the Idiom/Phrase
and click the button corresponding to it.
They told me that they had build a new house.
    Options:
    1) have built
    2) have build
    3) had built
    4) No improvement
    Correct Answer: had built
    Candidate Answer: have built

    • “They told me that they had build a new house”
The sentence is an indirect speech, when ur reporting a sentence the tense changes
“we have built a new house” is in present perfect tense. it changes to past perfect when reporting it to a 3rd person
“They told me that they had built a new house”
here “have” becomes “had”, “build” becomes “built”

  34. Does anyone know the answer for this question asked on August 31 3rd shift??

    Question 15.If – means ÷ , + means x , ÷ means – , x means +, then which of the following equations is correct?

    Options:
    1) 43 x 7 ÷ 5 + 4 – 8 = 25
    2) 48 ÷ 5 + 8 x 10 – 2 = 03
    3) 36 x 4 – 12 + 5 ÷ 3 = 420
    4) 42 + 5 ÷ 6 x 8 – 3 = 28

    Correct Answer:
    48 ÷ 5 + 8 x 10 – 2 = 03

    Someone please explain..

    • according to the question the correct equation for the answer is
      48 – 5 x 8 + 10 ÷ 2
applying BODMAS rule the answer simplifies to 3

          • Riya Bose i tried yesterday several times,it didn’t happen, today at morning, after you submit, then i had to press enter again, else it was remaining like that and it was shown your inquiry has been uploaded.

          • At first I thought it’s a great idea and the idea did actually work. I felt so relieved. But then I had to raise objection for another question so I relogged in. Then in the form I saw the same link (containing the same transaction id no) anyways, I proceeded still. Tried your trick and it worked again.

Just to check once more. I logged in once again. But, without any payment the same page for submission of challenge opened up. And to utter dismay, When I hit the submit button and pressed enter, I just copied that very link and pasted it on another browser (from where I had deleted all history, cookies and form data) . Here too the same message appeared that I have successfully uploaded the database!!! It’s a big technical problem from SSC!
And I feel even after the confirmation message, my challenge has not been actually uploaded because I can still see the page where I can type in my challenge and reason.

          • I tried your method and for the first time I saw the message that the challenge was successfully uploaded.

However, when I re- logged in for another challenge, I was once again asked to fill the same form (with the same transaction Id on the link). still, I filled again and the same thing is repeating again and again.
I also copied the link of the successful submission confirmation page and pasted it on another browser (with cleared cache , form fill , history and cookies) and without even logging in or filling a form it still said – that my query had been successfully submitted….lol…. Some major technical issues with this thing!!!!!

  35. Sir ,
I am getting 124 ACC. To answer key
    Expecting 129 with corrections …
    I m from ur category .
Kindly suggest accordingly as I m getting confused about preparation for tier 2 .. Should I start or wait for tier 1 result

    • Superb bro!! don’t wait for result if u are sure that u’ll get 120 or more. U have already achieved 60% benchmark. Start prep. for tier -2.
      Good luck.

  36. 122(63 correct 8 wrong) gen category, actually i am an ibps aspirant given ssc first time, left all those trigo and elevation ques, could i make it,and if yes what i should focus on for tier 2,and please mention any mistake in my english, cause thats how i learn.

    • Could i make it or not, please somebody reply, cause i have my ibps po exam in october,if i will not make it then i should better focus on
      ibps

      • You have a decent chance I guess. Last year tier 1 general cutoff was 102.25. this time, the expected mark displayed in MB site is 105-115 and it is almost the same displayed in other sites too. So you still have decent chance of clearing Tier I.

  37. I am getting 164, UR category. How much should I aim further in T-2? I am only aiming for AAO post, and I am from engg background. Also guide me regarding the source for studying Accountancy..

  38. Sir, my score is 148.5 in tier 1. There are 2 questions where I believe the answers given are incorrect. Is it that only if I raise an objection would I stand a chance to gain more marks or by default SSC will consider it, even if someone else raises an objection from that slot?

  39. Hello sir.
My marks are 107.5 UR and also there are certain questions which are right according to my calculation but given wrong …
What is my chance of clearing the cutoff ?
    And what about wrong answers?

  40. Sir I am getting 125 [UR] while answer of one question is given wrong and according to me my answer is correct.
    Question 14.A*B means multiply A by B; A@B means divide A by B, A?B means add B to A and A=B means subtract B from A.
    Then find the value of 10*10 = 5*10 ? 50@10

    A*B का अर्थ गुणा, @ का अर्थ भाग, ? का अर्थ योग, A=B का अर्थ A – B है तो
    10*10= 5*10 ? 50@10 का मान ज्ञात करें ?
    Options:
    1) 100
    2) 45
    3) 1000
    4) 55
    Correct Answer: 55
    Candidate Answer: 45
There are 3 questions for which my answers are changed, means candidate answer is different from what i have marked in the exam. Give ur suggestion.

  41. Hi, I have seen interesting trend in no of marks scored, I appeared for SSC CGL from Karnataka/Kerela cricle and my score is 118 [ST], whereas my friends from Delhi and acquaintances have reported scores of 168, 156, 165 etc. average being around 150+, whereas in south circle it averages around 120 [few samples], so my main concern is, will there be normalization of marks across circles or will it be as it is … Also I happened to come across a paper from my friend in Delhi circle and it was breeze, in a sense, direct formula based questions with no or negligible calculations, I was amazed at the simplicity of paper and and was ruing if I could have opted for Delhi centre.
Does my concern hold any ground or was it a bad day for me, if anybody could throw some light it would be of immense help. Share some experience.
