Dear SBI Clerk Aspirants

If you want to change the official language in your SBI Clerk Application, then here is a good news for you.
SBI has activated the link for Changing your Official Language in the SBI Clerk Exam Application.So, you can change it now. But keep in mind some important points.

Official Language List

SBI recently revised the list of official regional languages of many States. Various new regional languages have been added in the official list of the states. Below is the staewise list of official languages:

Bengal Circle

  • West Bengal: Bengali / Nepali / Urdu / Hindi / Santhali / Oriya / Punjabi \
  • Sikkim: Nepali / Bhutia / Lepcha / Limbu / Newari / Rai / Gurung / Mangar / Sherpa / Tamang / Sunuwar / English

Chandigarh Circle

  • Jammu & Kashmir: Urdu / English
  • Himachal Pradesh:  Hindi / English

Chennai Circle

  • Pondicherry: Tamil
  • Tamil Nadu: Tamil / English

Delhi Circle

  • Delhi:  Hindi / Punjabi / Urdu
  • Uttarakhand: Hindi / Sanskrit
  • Uttar Pradesh: Hindi / Urdu

North East Circle

  • Assam: Assamese /Bengali / Bodo
  • Tripura: Bengali / English /Kokborok

Hyderabad Circle

  • Andhra Pradesh: Telegu / Urdu
  • Telengana: Telegu / Urdu

Lucknow Circle

  • Uttar Pradesh: Hindi / Urdu

Patna Circle

  • Jharkhand: Hindi / Santhali / Bengali / Mumdari / Hoe / Kharia /Kudduk (Uraon) / Kurmali / Khortha / Nagpuri / Panchpargania / Odiya

    Last Date for Changing:

    You can change your  officila language for the SBI Clerk Exam till 5 June’2016. The link will be active till 5 June only.

    Who is Eligible for Changing?

    All such candidates who registered and paid their fees before the last date of registration are eligible for changing their Official regional language.

    It is not related with the exam. The language for exam will be same for all.
    It will be needed at the time of document verification to check your level of fluency

    The official change is done solely for that, So that you can select the language in which you are fluent

  9. In mp official regional language is hindi so i have selected hindi so can any tell that whether i have to solve question in hindi aur english and i m english medium

  10. Sir, what is the purpose of official language, m frm Chennai and I changed from Tamil to English thinking tat they ll ask us to read n write Tamil.As my second language is Hindi. I changed it to English.
