  1. Ma’am, I’m currently in my final year of BBA. I will be appearing for CAT this November as I am inclined towards pursuing a post graduation and from one of the top Institutions across India. Regarding the RBI Officer Grade B exams, what will portray me as better equipped to take up the exam from the eligibility point of view, whether a Master’s degree or an MBA will also do? Also, if I can directly appear for the Officer Grade B (General) exam, leaving out the option of a post graduation, what is the amount of time I should invest in preparing for the exam? Will I see progress with just a bachelor’s degree? Otherwise is it possible to prepare well while pursuing post graduation? To climb up the ladder, which is the best and safe path taking into consideration higher education, selection of DR, DEPR, DSIM, and the timeline of human life? I’m bombarded with a lot of these questions as I want to start at the right time and not be late for any exam/preparation.

  2. Mam I belong to SC category , I have have 54% in my graduation,, I have got more than 50 % in 5 semester but in one semester I got only 44% will it be considered as a draw back?? Am I eligible for this post?? Overall I have 54 % …..

Coz when I checked the notification they mentioned “The minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s degree will be in aggregate for all semesters / years.”

So I am quite confused what should I do???

    • Hi Naman
As per the notification, A minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD)
or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in
12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard
      examinations is needed.
Your marks in 12th standard are not qualifying for the same. We recommend you to appear for other prestigious exams like SSC CGL and others

Add it up and see if it makes 60%.

This reply of yours made me ask the question..

        • Naman, you should have asked me yourself no ? That guy had sent me an email and I had rectified it after seeing the notification thrice. A lot of other aspirants asked the same so i had to check the notification thrice.

Kabhi doubt ho toh mujhse pucho nahi toh galat information pass hojega. Comments ki replies se judgement pass kre ho without knowing the whole background story. Then you people will only say ki sahi guide nahi kiya and all that.

We human beings are entitled to make mistakes and only we can rectify them. At least we own up to them. We don’t hush our mistakes but always admit and rectify. We let the comments stay here as well because there is no shame in admitting ki haan hogyi thi galti par sudhar li.

But even then you stay here looking for opportunities to prick us as if that will make a difference to either us or you.

Anyway, now that you’ve understood the eligibility criteria, you can go ahead and apply for other exams
