The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the result of Phase I Exam Prelims & Mains for the recruitment of Officers in Grade ‘B’ (General) Direct Recruitment – (DR). There are 161 vacancies. The RBI Grade B Exam takes place in 3 stages – Prelims, Mains and Interview. While the Prelims is of qualifying nature, the Mains exam & Interview will account for your final selection. RBI Grade B Exam Pattern: Stages/Mode
RBI Grade B Exam Pattern: Phase- I (Prelims)
The RBI Grade B Phase I examination consist of total 200 marks in time duration of 120 minutes.

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern: Phase – II Written Examination (Descriptive Type)
As per the RBI Grade B Exam Pattern, the Phase – II examination will consist of three papers.

You will have to select any 1 subject out of the 3, as per post preference and eligibility.
This exam will also be taken Online.
RBI Grade B Exam Pattern: Interview
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on the aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II (Paper-1 + Paper-II +Paper-III). The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for Interview will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies. Roll No. of the candidates shortlisted for the interview will be published on RBI website at an appropriate time and interview call letters will be sent on registered email ID. Interview will be of 50 marks. Candidate may opt for interview either in Hindi or English. Final Selection will be through merit list which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-11 examination and interview.

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern: Negative Marking
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests (Preliminary and Main examination). 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be deducted if the question is left unanswered or blank. Never ever give the blind guesses in the examination. Just keep in mind about the negative marking. Solve the questions confidently and then just make sure that the answer is correct or not.
Total score =200 – (1*Number of correct answers)-(1/4 * number of incorrect responses).
RBI Grade B Exam Pattern: Important Points
1. Phase 1 RBI Officer Grade B Exam will be held online for 200 marks.
2. The question paper in Phase 1 will be divided in 4 sections.
3. Candidates will be given 120 minutes or 2 hours to complete the Phase 1 exam.
4. Candidates who qualify the phase 1 online exam will be eligible to sit for the phase 2 exam.
5. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on the aggregate marks secured in Phase -II.
6. The details regarding your Interview, i.e. Date, Time & Location will be provided to you in your Call-letter.
7. The total marks for the interview round of RBI Grade B is 50.
8. Candidate may opt for interview either in Hindi or English.
