- RBI Assistant exam will comprise of 3 sections i.e Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude & English Language.
- A total of 100 question will be asked in exam divided equally in Reasoning, Quant & English Respectively.
- Candidates will have a composite time of 60 minutes to solve all the sections.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.

- RBI Assistant Mains exam will comprise of 5 sections i.e Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness & Computer Knowledge.
- A total of 200 question will be asked in RBI Assistant Exam 2016.
- Candidates will have a composite time of 120 minutes to solve all the sections.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.

RBI Assistant Exam Pattern: Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned as detailed below. Candidate who are not proficient in the official/ Local Language will be disqualified.
