NABARD Recruitment – 2016 Age Eligibility
- For Asst. Manager in Grade ‘A‘: Between 21 years and 30 years. (candidates born not earlier than 01.02.1986 and not later than 31.01.1995 are eligible to apply).
- For Manager in Grade ‘B’: Between 25 years and 35 year (candidates born not earlier than01.02.1981 and not later than 31.01.1991 are eligible to apply).
NABARD 2016 Recruitment Experience
- For Grade A: No Experience Required. Freshers are eligible.
- For Grade B: At least three years’ full time experience (02 years for SC/ST) as on 31.01.2016 as an Officer in Commercial / Cooperative / Regional rural Banks/ FIIs/Corporates /Non-Banking Finance Companies.
NABARD 2016 Recruitment: Educational Qualifications
Asst. Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS)
(i) A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline like, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Technology, Horticulture, Arts, Management, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Information Technology etc. with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years.
OR
(ii) Master’s degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Technology, Horticulture, Arts, Management, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Information Technology etc. with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years
OR
(iii) A Doctorate Degree
OR
(iv) Chartered / Cost Accountants / Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor’s Degree
OR
(v) Two Year Full time PG Diploma in Management / MBA Qualification from institutions recognised by GoI / UGC, with Graduation / Bachelor’s Degree
Note : SC/ST/PWD candidates having second class with a minimum of 45% or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years in Bachelor’s Degree examination OR having a post graduate degree or equivalent recognised qualification are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification for Manager in Grade ‘B’ (RDBS)
(i) A first class Master’s degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Technology, Horticulture, Arts, Management, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Information Technology etc. with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years

(ii) A Doctorate Degree

(iii) Chartered / Cost Accountants / Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor’s Degree

NABARD Recruitment 2016 Essential Experience (as on 31 January 2016)
- For GRADE A Posts: No Experience Required. Freshers are eligible to apply.
- For Grade B Posts: At least three years’ full time experience (02 years for SC/ST) as an Officer in Commercial / Cooperative / Regional rural Banks/ FIIs/Corporates /Non-Banking Finance Companies.
Note: Full time Experience as on 31 January 2016, after acquiring the prescribed educational qualification will only be reckoned for all the posts.
NABARD 2016 Recruitment Selection Procedure
The examination will be computer based online (Objective type with Multiple Choice Question pattern) and shall consist of three phases, viz., Phase-I and Phase-II, followed by Interview.
The Preliminary online Examination will be common for both Assistant Manager (RDBS) in Grade ‘A’ and Manager (RDBS) in Grade ‘B’. The selection will be in three Phases :
1. Assistant Managers in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS)
Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Online Exam)
- Objective Type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 200 marks.
- Duration: 120 Minutes
Part I
- Reasoning – 40 marks
- English Language – 40 marks
- Computer Knowledge – 20 marks
- General Awareness – 20 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude – 30 marks
Part II
- Eco. & Social issues – 25 marks
- Agri. & Rural Dev. – 25 marks
Phase II – Main Examination: 1 paper in MCQ pattern and 1 paper in descriptive format (English).
Paper-I (Writing skills online test on keyboard)
- General English: (Descriptive) The paper will have descriptive questions carrying 100 marks.
- Duration: 1 ½ hrs
- The analytical and drafting ability of the candidate shall be assessed from the Descriptive English paper through essay writing, comprehension, report writing, paragraph writing & Letter writing.
Paper–II (MCQ) Economic and Social Issues and Agri. and Rural Development
- Duration: 1 ½ hrs.
- Marks 100
Phase III Interview
- Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II Examination and securing sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for interview.
- Marks for Interview : 25 Marks

- Grade A: Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.17100/- p.m. in the scale of 17100-1000(11) – 28100-EB- 1000(4)- 32100-1100(1)- 33200.
- Grade B: Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.21000/- p.m. in the scale of 21000-1000(9) – 30000-EB- 1000(2) – 32000-1100(4) – 36400.
