With only a day left before commencement of IBPS PO MAINS examination, it is obvious that tensions are running high and confidence a bit low. It is that time of year when hair starts to turn grey, sleep is lost, you hate the taste of food and your stress levels reach alarmingly high levels. The mind is preoccupied with thoughts, which are constantly interfering with your preparation and plans. Well folks you won’t be anxious anymore. All you need some positivity to get super awesome again.
The first step towards an exceptional performance is to have a positive frame of mind. At present your mind is filled with thoughts like “I haven’t prepared this or that section well”, “I didn’t practice enough questions”, “I didn’t score well in the mock tests” and countless others. Flush out all the negative thoughts and get that positive vibe. You will start feeling good and look forward to a good life. Positive mind frame not only relaxes you, but it also awakens a force inside you that keeps elevating you to a level of ever improving performance. Yes. You read it right. Deep breathing not only calms you down, but it also helps in focusing it like a laser. With your exam so close, you can’t afford to let it wander in the realm of universe. Breathe in the following pattern to improve focus and increase concentration. While breathing in count till 7. Then hold your breath for 3-4 seconds and exhale it by counting till 5-6. Do this atleast 4-5 times whenever you feel anxiety getting the best of you.
With just a day remaining before the final exam, its a wise thing to refrain from comparing your preparation with that of your peers. Comparison gives rise to anxiety and obviously it doesn’t help score you better. Whatever preparation you have done till now will define your performance tomorrow. There is no use to think about what could have been done. It is often said:

Go out for a run! Running releases endorphins in your body. They interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain. Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in the body. So go out there and run, take a long walk, skate board or hit the gym. Anything which suits you the best. Go out and Just do it.
Did you know that what you eat and drink can and will affect your performance. Don’t eat high cholesterol foods like cookies, cakes, and muffins, which require added time and energy to digest. Also avoid foods that are high in refined sugar, such as chocolates, desserts, and candies. Avoid Carbohydrates like rice and potatoes.
Each protein-rich foods like eggs, nuts, yogurt, and cottage cheese which lead to greater mental alertness. For breakfast on the exam day consider having whole-grain cereal with low-fat milk, eggs and toast with jam, porridge, oatmeal, or sugar-free muesli.
Fruits are considered brain fuel, as they help you think faster and remember more easily. You could eat oranges, strawberries, blueberries, or bananas.For vegetables raw carrots, sprouts, spinach, broccoli, and asparagus are good choices.
Babies sleep without any tension, worries or trouble about what is going to happen the next moment. So the night before the exam, let go of all your worries and sleep like a baby. You will wake up energized and ready to rock!
