It is to be noted that the Prelims exam is separately-timed. That is, separate time slots have been allotted for each section and candidates will have to attempt the respective sections during the allotted time and finish them within that duration. For Prelims, 20 mins is allotted for each section. The total time duration of the exam is 60 minutes or 1 hour.

Final Score Calculation for J&K Bank PO Exam:

The process for arriving at scores is given below –

  • The total number of questions answered correctly in each test is taken to arrive at the Corrected Score after applying penalty for wrong answers. Marks obtained in the Prelims will not be considered for final selection.
  • The Corrected Score of a candidate are taken to be equivalent to the minor difference in difficulty level.
  • Obtained scores in any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all forms.
  • Test wise scores and scores on total is reported with decimal point upto two digits.

Cutoffs are applied in two stages:

  • On scores in individual tests.
  • On Total scores.

  • Question Types: A long sentence will be given with one part of sentence underlined/highlighted. You need to choose the correct option which will make the sentence grammatically correct.

(3) Fill in the Blanks

  • Weightage: 2-3 Qs
  • Question Types: Chances of asking sentence with double blanks types qs are high. However  sentences with single blank can also be asked.

(4) Cloze Test

  • Weightage: 5-10 Qs
  • Question Types: The passage will have certain words missing from it & you have to fill the words according to Grammar rules.

(5) Para Jumbles

  • Question Types: A set of 6 sentences are to be rearranged to form a meaningful paragraph. Sometimes odd sentence which does not follow the theme of passage can also be asked.
