IBPS Specialist Officer Score Card: Calculation of Marks

The Scores are obtained by adopting the following procedure:

A number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying the penalty for wrong answers.
The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores.
Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms.

Final scores in each test are rounded off to the nearest integer
Note: SO Cutoffs were applied in two stages:

on scores in individual tests
on Total Score

IBPS SO IT Officer Job Profile

As a Specialist IT Officer in various Banks, you will be responsible for the overall technological perspectives of the Bank you are working in and providing end-to-end support for Bank’s core banking system.
You will also be responsible for for management of various systems like the ATM, Cash Deposit Kiosks, Mobile Banking and internet Banking, Networking etc.
You will also be in charge of developing new software and even modifying the Bank’s existing software.
Also the Bank Network Security will also be your responsibility.
