Do you have any technical stuff for preparation. If yes please mail me @ patilajay296@gmail.com

  • sadhana

seems every section is equally important.

  • sadhana

sir, the overall cutoff is around 115, how would I score to this level when I attemp those three section for only pass marks? wouldn’t it affect the overall cutoff or the 115 that I have to score is only in professional knowledge section?

    • Vaibhav

Thats the point sadhana. You need to score not just for passing in the other sections. Clearing sectional cutoffs is not enough to clear the overall cutoff.

    • @@ ## Ajay ## @@

Do you have MCQ’s for technical part

  • Divya

what is the expected cut-off mark in each category?

  • Aslam

    Hi sir/madam can l am applied ibps so.l am m.com qualify ..

    • Vaibhav

      • Aslam

        Thank u sir..

        • Vaibhav

          Your welcome Aslam

  • Rohan

sir thank you for your guidance.
What is good score or number of attempts in professional knowledge section

  • varsha

Can time provided for part 1 & 2 will be different?

    • Vaibhav

No it is in SBI Systems. in IBPS there will be 120 Minutes allotted for the 4 sections.

  • Smriti

Sir u told that in sbi SO part-I is only qualifying and part-II is scroing. Is this pattern same for the ibps so as well???

  • Lekshmi

Sir is there any separate cutoff marks for part 1 and part 2 in SBI SO.I mean there is separate cutt off for reasoning , quant and english…right?Just like that is there cut of for part1(togeether) and part 2???

    • Vaibhav

      Hi Lekshmi Let us explain.

Part I (quant reasoning english) is qualifying in nature. Meaning you need to just clear sectional cutoffs of these 3 sections. These individual sectional cutoffs are usually very low. Then comes the professional knowledge part. Here you need to kick up the attempt and the score.
So a candidate who clears sectional cutoff of quant, reasoning and english and scores good in Prof knowledge will clear the exam.
Please ask again if not clear.

  • Rahul

    Thanku sir ..

  • PavanKumar

Hello, I am PavanKumar form Hyd. I am working as an SW Eng in an MNC. I have a query regarding Future of an IT officer in a Bank…
I heard a person who joined a bank as a Clerk can reach higher positions than SO
    is it true?
Also, an SO can never become a Branch Manager?
wont there be Departmental Exams to move to Higher Scales? Please help to answer my queries.

    Thanks much for ur help!!

    • Vaibhav

Pavan it depends on the timelines you are looking at.
A clerk earns a lot less than a SO.
If he takes 15-20 years to reach to SO level position and salary, it doesn’t makes sense. regarding SO can be a BM or not, well it depends on bank policies.
Considering you are working in MNC, we assume you are doing good for yourself.
The only question to ask yourself is Do you want to work for a bank or an MNC.
Rest everything will be taken care of

  • Rahul
