English section was easy and a well-prepared candidate could attempt 25-32 questions. Topics from which the questions were asked:
- Reading Comprehensions – 15
- Rearrangement – 5
- Cloze test – 10
- Error Spotting – 5
- Sentence Improvement – 5
- Spelling – 5
- Fill in the blanks – 5
Overall this section was moderate and a well-prepared candidate could attempt 25-30 questions. Topics that were tested included Agricultural Tools, Fertilizers and Manures, Horticulture, Varieties of Plants, , Processed Food, Plant-Water Relations, Irrigation, Farming, Crop Improvement, .
