IBPS Provisional Allotment Process After Selection
As the name suggest, in the Provisional Allotment, IBPS will shortlist applicants and then appoint them in any of the Participating Banks.
The criteria being that you have qualified in both Written Exam and Interview and have cleared the overall cutoff. The allocation of banks is done on the basis of your marks and preferences filled at the time of submitting the application.
IBPS will be informing you about the bank that you have been allotted through an email at your registered email id.
Also they will be sending you the joining letters to your address as well. After this procedure, the part of IBPS will be completed and the further process will be finished by the bank that you are allotted.
It is critical to note that if two applicants have acquired the same score, then their ranking is chosen according to date of birth (the hopeful senior in age is put before/over the competitor junior in age).
Also the most important thing regarding Provisional allotment is that it is only provisional and not permanent. It signifies that if at any stage, it is found that the candidate does not fulfill the qualification his candidature would be wiped out.
IBPS Joining Process after Provisional Allotment
After Provisional Allotment of the banks by IBPS, the part of banks begins here. The individual banks will send an appointment letter (offer letter) containing all the joining instructions. You will also be provided with the necessary documentation that needs to be done at the time of joining the bank. Also the bank will notify you about the medical test that you need to undergo before joining. But no need to worry, as it is not a defence job, and almost all the candidates are declared medically fit to join the bank after the medical tests.
The banks as per their requirement and convenience may call you for joining in approx a month’s duration.Be that as it may, banks might postpone it by as much as two, three or six months after results are declared.
IBPS Training Process after Joining
Well, once you have joined the bank at their head office, you will either be sent to a training Centre or a branch. If you are sent to the Training Centre , then you will undergo a classroom training for approx 15 days to a month. If you are sent to any branch , then you will undergo on the job training where you will learn all the nitty gritties of banking. After effectively finishing your training, you will be posted in branches of the bank crosswise over India.
