IBPS PO Result: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is all prepared to declare the IBPS PO Prelims Exam Result in December, most probably in the fourth week. Candidates who satisfy the criteria of minimum passing marks in the preliminary examination shall be permitted to appear for the IBPS PO Mains test. The result of the preliminary test shall be provisional; the final selection shall be based on the cumulative marks obtained in the mains and interview. IBPS conducted the preliminary exam of PO on December 4 and 11, 2021. This recruitment is being held for the fulfilment of worthy aspirants for 4135 vacancies. Candidates who score minimum passing marks in the prelims test shall be called for the mains test to be conducted in January 2022. When all rounds have been organised by the IBPS, the final result will be uploaded on the site—probably in April 2022.

What after the IBPS PO Exam?

  • In the IBPS PO exam, you will be required to score a minimum overall cut off in both Prelims and Mains exams and a minimum cutoff for each section in the exam.
  • Only the score of the Main examination and the interview score (combined) will be considered for Final Merit Listing in the recruitment process.
  • Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the interview process and the number of vacancies available in the participating organisation.
  • The participating organisation issues the appointment letter, including the terms and conditions, verification formalities, joining date, etc., and is considered final.
