IBPS PO Exam 2017. The official notification is out is the newspaper and the website. The registrations on the official website will begin from August 16, 2017. From this year onwards, the IBPS PO Exam 2017 Mains will be conducted in a new format.
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) have issued the recruitment notification for Probationary Officers (POs). Start preparing for this year’s paper. Each year the number of aspirants keep increasing and the competition becomes stiffer. This year is no different. The examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main. Candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and co-ordinated by the Nodal Bank.
As per the official exam calendar issued by IBPS in earlier this year, the IBPS PO Exam will be held from October 7th onwards. The competition will be neck to neck so please get familiar with the exam pattern, syllabus and the best books and resources available.
Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for the next stage.

IBPS PO Exam 2017: Interview
The IBPS PO interview will be of 100 marks. Candidates declared successful in the mains stage of IBPS PO Exam 2017 will be shortlisted for an interview round which will be competitive and will consist of a reputed panel. The IBPS PI will be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.
IBPS PO Exam 2017: Negative Marking
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Testsunder IBPS PO exam 2017. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
IBPS PO Exam 2017: Cut Off Scores
The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions of IBPS PO exam will be normalized using equi-percentile method.
Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations

IBPS PO Exam 2017: Pre-Examination Training
Pre-Examination Training for IBPS PO exam may be arranged by the Nodal Banks/ Participating Organisations to a limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities at certain centres.
IBPS PO Exam 2017: Venue Details
1. The IBPS PO exam 2017 will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India. The tentative list of Examination centres for the IBPS PO Exam will be made available in the official notification.
2. No request for change of centre for IBPS PO exam shall be entertained.
3. The centres for the IBPS PO exam 2017 mains will be limited.
IBPS PO Exam 2017: Allotment
On completion of the interview process, depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2018-19 for IBPS PO exam 2017, based on the business needs of the Participating Organisations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations, based on merit-cum preference.
