IBPS Clerk exam started on 5th December and first weekend of exam is over. Below is the section-wise analysis of the exam till 6th December and you can see expected cut-offs, state wise cutoff and sectional cutoffs at the end of this post.
Pattern of Exam : 100 Questions, 100 Marks, 1 Hour
- English Language (30 questions, 30 marks)
- Numerical Aptitude (35 questions, 35 marks)
- Reasoning (35 questions, 35 marks)
Overall, the exam was easy to moderate. A good number of attempts in the exam were 55 – 65 with 80-100% accuracy.
IBPS CLERK Prelims Reasoning:
Overall, the Reasoning section was easy to moderate. A good number of attempts in the exam were 25-30. Topics from which the questions were asked:
- Sitting Arrangement – 10
- Puzzle – 5
- Inequalities – 5
- Coding Decoding – 5
- Miscellaneous – 5
- Number/Alphabet Series -5
IBPS CLERK Prelims Numerical Ability:
Overall, the NA section was easy to moderate and a good number of attempts in this section were 18-23. Topics from which the questions were asked:
- Number Series – 5
- Data Interpretation(Table) – 5
- Simplification – 10
- Arithmetic (Profit Loss, Time & work, Percentage, Age, etc.) – 15
IBPS CLERK Prelims English :
Overall, the English section was easy and a well prepared candidate could attempt 20-25 questions. Topics from which the questions were asked:
- Reading Comprehensions – 10
- Rearrangement – 5
- Cloze test – 5
- Error Spotting – 5
- Sentence Correction – 5
