Today we will talk about the Banking Sector Exams. Banking Exams are the most sought after government job exam in India. The reason being, they offer the highest number of overall vacancies as compared to any other government job exam. Every year more than 50000 banking sector jobs are generated. The most common banking exams being IBPS PO, SBI PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI Clerk, RBI etc.
Banking Examination Structure and Process
- Written Examination (Online Computer Based Objective Exam)
- Interview and Sometimes Group Discussion also.
- Document Verification & Medical Fitness Test
Written Exam Basic Features
The common written exam is now conducted in two phases:
- Prelims
- Mains
Banking Prelims Exams Pattern
Total 100 marks exam containing 100 questions having a time duration of 1 hour
- English – 30 marks
- Reasoning 35 marks
- Numerical ability 35 marks
Each correct answer will fetch one marks and for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks shall be deducted. The question paper shall be of objective multiple choice. The question paper shall be in both English and Hindi Except for English.
