1.      C As per latest Economic Outlook Survey of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth forecast for FY 18 will be around 7.4%, with a minimum and maximum level of 7% and 7.6% respectively.
2.      A S Ramassamy (80), the former Puducherry Chief Minister, has passed away in Puducherry on May 15, 2017. Ramassamy joined Congress in 1992.
3.      C Ovais Sarmad who is an Indian national has been appointed by the U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to the post of Deputy Executive Secretary, which is a key post in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
4.      E Indira Gandhi Zoological Park is located amidst Kambalakonda Reserve Forest in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. The zoological park is named after the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
5.      B The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has collaborated with the British Geological Survey (BGS) to turn Varanasi into a smart city.
