1.      CThe govt announced a waiver of crop loans and short-term loans of up to Rs 50,000 availed from cooperative banks. The concession will benefit 22,27,506 farmers who had taken loans totalling Rs 10,736 crore from cooperative banks.
2.      DThe Asian Development Bank (ADB) has signed a loan agreement of $275 million with Government of India (GOI) for improving urban services in 64 small towns in Madhya Pradesh. As part of the agreement, the project will develop sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient water supply in 64 small and medium-sized towns, and integrated storm water and sewerage infrastructure in two heritage towns of Khajuraho and Rajnagar. Along with ADB’s loan, the Government of Madhya Pradesh will provide counterpart support of $124 million.
3.      EThe 2017 BIO International Convention was held at the San Diego Convention Centre in San Diego, California from June 19 to 22, 2017, which was hosted by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). It was the largest global event for the biotechnology industry that offerd key networking and partnering opportunities and provided insights and inspiration on the major trends affecting the industry. Its establishment is part of the Estonian general strategy of data management and fundamentally a double guarantee to their data and services.
