CTET 2018 notification has been officially released on ctet.nic.in. CBSE CTET 2018 exam will be held on 16th September 2018 in offline mode. CTET application form will start from 22nd June onwards. The last to apply online form is 19th July 2018. You can apply online for CTET 2018 on the official website. The CBSE will be conducting the 11th edition of CTET 2018 on Sunday, September 16. The test will be conducted in 92 cities all over the country. Earlier, CTET was being conducted twice every year, but from now onwards CTET exam will be conducted once in a year. CBSE CTET is a national recruitment process to appoint the skillful teachers for Primary level & Upper Primary Level. CTET 2018: Important Date

This year, CTET will be held in 20 languages. The eligibility criteria of CTET 2018 has also been amended recently, for the B.Ed qualified candidates. Candidates can check it from the eligibility section below. All the important dates of CTET 2018 are as follows:

CTET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to fulfil the below-mentioned requirements in order to appear for CBSE CTET 2018. Please note that the CTET eligibility criteria depend purely on the Class for which the candidate is applying for:

(i) Primary Level (Classes I-V)

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Education.

OR

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

(ii) Upper Primary Level (Classes VI-VIII)

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

OR

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed.

Age Limit:

  • The minimum age required to apply for CTET 2018 Exam is 18 years and there is no upper age limit

CTET 2018 Selection Procedure

Applicants should know about the proper CTET 2018 Selection process. Therefore, here we have given a full description of selection a procedure. According to the CTET examination authority department, applicants will be selected as per their performance in the CTET Online examination.   • Paper I: The paper I is for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper II: The Paper II is for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

How to Apply CBSE CTET Online Form 2018 :

The CTET 2018 Application form submission will be started from 22nd June 2018. Candidates, who want to fill CTET 2018 online form in prescribed format on the official website of CTET that is ctet.nic.in, will be able to apply soon. Candidates may submit the CTET Online Application form 2018 before the last date i.e. 19th July 2018.

Steps to Apply for CTET 2018 Exam?

STEP 1: Log on to CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.

STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.

STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.

STEP 4: Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature

STEP 5: Pay examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card

STEP 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.

CTET ADMIT CARD:

The candidates may download Admit Card from CTET official website only w.e.f. 20-08-2018 onwards and appear for the examination at the given Centre. In case of any discrepancy noticed in admit card regarding particulars of candidate, photograph and signature or any other information vary from confirmation page, he/she may immediately contact CTET unit for necessary corrections. In case confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fees, the candidate should approach the Assistant Secretary (Exam.), CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. from 23-08-2018 to 27-08-2018 along with proof of payment of fee i.e. candidate copy of E-Challan, if payment made through E-Challan or copy of bank statement, if payment made through Credit/Debit Card for considering his/her candidature for CTET – 2018 examination.
