BSF Recruitment 2017: Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Directorate General, Border Security Force (BSF) has advertised a notification for the recruitment of 1074 Constable (Tradesman) vacancies. BSF Recruitment: Age Limit

  • Candidates age limit should be in between 18 to 23 years as on 01-08-2017.
  • Age relaxation is admissible for candidates of SC/ ST/ OBC category and other special categories of personnel in accordance with the instructions issued by Central Govt. from time to time.

BSF Recruitment: Educational Qualification

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized institute/Board.Experience

  • 2 yrs experience in respective trades.

  • 1 yr certificate course from Industrial Training Institute of Vocational Institute with at least 1 yr experience in the trade

  • Diploma from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade for 2 yrs.

BSF Recruitment: Salary Details

Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- Per Month (Pre revised) (Revised Pay Matrix Level-3 of 7th CPC) and other Allowances as admissible of Central Government.

BSF Recruitment: Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on the following process:-

  1. Physical Standard Test (PST)
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  3. Documentation Trade Test
  4. Written Test and
  5. Medical Exam.
