Bihar TET Recruitment – Exam Pattern

In both Paper I & Paper II, a total of 150 questions will be asked in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format from sections such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language, Maths, Science and from the subject chosen by the candidates. Frequently Asked Questions – Bihar Teaching Eligibility Test

Q) What is the Bihar Teaching Eligibility Test Examination?

Aspirants who are hunting to get a job as a primary teacher in government schools of Bihar state can apply for the BTET examination. While talking about total available seats there are more than 500 hundred seats available in BTET. The cutoff marks are almost 50%.

The BTET examination is solely conducted by the Bihar School Education Board (BSEB). The mode of examination is offline and the total time duration to complete the exam is 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Q) What is the Age Limit for Bihar Teaching Eligibility Test?

Candidate should have a minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 35 years as on 1st January 2019. Age relaxation scheme for SC/ST/OBS/ Female candidates is 5% based on the reservation criteria directed by the government authority.

Candidates from Bihar state are the only ones who are eligible to appear in the BTET examination.

Q) What is the Selection Process for Bihar Teaching Eligibility Test?

There will be two papers in BTET based on your selection of teaching classes. Paper I is for those candidates who want to become a teacher of I-V classes. Paper II is only for those candidates who are looking to become a teacher for VI-VII classes.
