IBPS PO Syllabus 2019-20 For Prelims and Mains

The IBPS PO exam is conducted in three stages, namely, Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Personal Interview.

As can be seen, the IBPS PO Main exam has all three sections of the Preliminary exam. In addition, the Main exam has three more sections:

  • a) Computer Aptitude (merged with the Reasoning section)
  • b) General Awareness
  • c) English Language – Letter Writing and Essay (Descriptive section)

The IBPS PO syllabus for the three sections – English LanguageQuantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability is same for both Prelims and Mains.

Data Analysis and Interpretation is not included in the IBPS PO Syllabus of Preliminary Exam. IBPS Bank PO Syllabus General English:

If you have the basic knowledge of English grammar and a good vocabulary, you will score well in this section. Spend two hours daily for preparing for this section and practice a lot of questions.
