Assam TET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates having the following minimum educational qualification are eligible for Appearing in Assam TET 2020 Exam.

  • Applicants must have mandatory educational qualification & age limit can apply for the Assam TET.
  • Candidates must have graduation in the relevant stream.
  • Minimum 50% Marks are required in the Graduation Degree.
  • Applicants must have qualified B.T/ B.Ed Degree from any recognized university or institutes.
  • Applicants must have 2 years or 4 years Diploma in Elementary Education DElEd after graduation can also apply.
  • Lower age limit is 18 years & Upper Age limit is 35 years.
  • Age relaxation is applicable.

Exam Pattern of Assam TET 2020

Department of Elementary Education, Assam has announced the Assam TET 2020 exam pattern. Assam TET 2020 consits of two papers. The Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Lower Primary level (classes I to V) and Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Upper Primary level (classes VI to VIII). Refer below for knowing more about the exam pattern.

Language: The exam will conducted in Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi and English.
Duration: Both the papers will be of 150 minutes each.
No. of questions: Each paper will have 150 questions each.
Type of Questions: MCQ type only.
Marking Scheme: Every question will have 1 mark each. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers of unattended questions.

Assam TET Exam Centers 2020

Assam TET Admit Card 2020

The call letter of Assam TET 2020 releases on the official website of DEE under the table of Teaching Eligibility Test (TET). The hall ticket is available in the login section. The applicants need registration details and a password to download the hall ticket. Applicants must take photo ID proof along with the admit card to the exam center. No candidate will be allowed to the exam center if he does not produce the call letter for verification. The admit card must clearly show a passport photo and signature of the applicants to consider it valid. The candidate must read the instructions given in the admit card and abide by the same in the exam center.

Assam TET Answer key 2020

The Department of Elementary Education, Assam publish the answer key for both exams shortly after conducting the exam. The answer key will be available in PDF format for all the sets. Key for Paper-I and II is released separately. Applicants can find the answer key of Assam TET 2020 on the official website under the tab of Teaching Eligibility Test. The answer key is the list of all the correct answers to the question paper. The response sheets for all the applicants are evaluated on the basis of the answer key. Every correct answer is given 1 mark for each and there is no negative marking for wrong answers or unattended questions. You can also object to the answer key uploaded by the officials by paying the prescribed fees for the same.

Assam TET Result 2020

Assam TET Exam Result is a merit of all the applicants who qualified for the Assam TET exam. The applicants must score the minimum marks specified by the exam authorities to qualify for the exam. The result will consist of applicants name, roll no., registration no. and categories of the applicants as well as the overall score of the candidate. The applicants who qualify will be given a certificate of Teaching Eligibility issued by the Department of Elementary Education, Assam. This certificate and the result of the applicant will be valid for 7 years from the date of release of the result.
