APSET Result 2019 – Qualifying Marks
Cut off is the minimum marks you need to be declared as qualified. Whereas qualifying marks are bare minimum marks you need in order to be even considered for further processing of results. Depending on category, qualifying marks is fixed. They are:

Number of candidates qualifying as per APSET Results
With regards to number of slots available for eligibility of Assistant Professor / Lectureship via APSET, number is fixed as per norms. Understand this distribution in following points.
- 6% of all candidates who appear in both paper 1 and 2 are declared as qualified for Eligibility for Assistant Professor /Lecturer.
- These number of candidates are divided among categories as per reservation rules, which is usually: BC-A (7%), BC-B (10%),BC-C (1%), BC-D (7%), BC-E (4%), SC (15%), ST (6%).
- Horizontal reservation of 33.33% is applicable for women, and 3% for PWD.
Number of candidates to qualify in each category and each subject is calculated as per a ratio. It is the ratio of number of candidates who secure minimum aggregate percentage of marks as prescribed in each subject and category-wise to the total number of candidates of that category over all subjects fulfilling minimum aggregate percentage multiplied by the total number of slots to be awarded to that category. This number is further rounded off to nearest whole number in order to get the number of slots available in any particular subject category-wise.
Minimum slots in a category for a subject = 1.

APSET 2019 Certificate Verification Schedule and Venues
After getting result, qualified candidates need to attend document verification. When and where to attend document verification are published via, as their name suggests, schedules and venues of APSET 2019 certificate verification.
- Last time there were two phases in certificate verification.
- PWD candidates were given first slot of 10 am on each day.
- Slots are given to candidates on basis of their subjects.
