Air Force has released the notification for AFCAT-2 2020 on its website afcat.cadc.in on 9th June for flying, the technical and non-technical branch of the IAF. The Application process for AFCAT-2 Exam 2020 is online and AFCAT 2 online application starts from 15th June 2020. Eligible and Interested candidates are advised to fill the form at earliest to avoid any hassle at the last minute. The last date to apply online for the recruitment process is 14th July 2020.

AFCAT 2 2020 Notification has been released now. AFCAT 2 exam date is also announced along with the AFCAT 2 Notification PDF at the official website of Indian Air Force. As per the notice, AFCAT 2 2020 exam will be conducted on 19th and 20th September 2020.

The link for AFCAT online application is available from 15th June 2020 to 14th July 2020. AFCAT 2 notification 2020 has been released for the post of officers into Indian Air Force for various entries such as:

  • Flying Branch (Pilot)
  • Ground Duty Technical (Electrical, Mechanical)

AFCAT is an acronym for Air Force Common Admission Test which is a national level examination for selection into Indian Air Force as a Grade A Officer. The AFCAT Exam is conducted twice in a year for recruiting Technical & Non-Technical branches of the Indian Air Force.

AFCAT 2 2020 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

AFCAT Syllabus Pattern Books for cracking the exam

Marking Scheme & Standard of AFCAT:

  • For each correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 3 marks
  • For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
  • There are no negative marks for any unattempted questions.

The Standard of questions of Numerical ability will equivalent to matriculation level. The level of other subjects will be of graduation level.

Salary of Indian Air Force Officer:

During training, a stipend of Rs. 52,600 will be paid to trainees of the Indian Air Force. The total duration of the training for AFCAT is 1 year.

  • Pay Band ( all Branches ) –₹ 56,100 Per Month
  • Level 10 in the Pay Matrix: VIIth CPC – 56,100-1,10,700
  • Military Service Pay:- ₹ 15,500 Per Month
  • Flying Branch: Rs. 11,250 per month
  • Technical Branch Officers: Rs. 2,500 per month
